Met with her teacher. Trouble grasping things, the funny thing is she is smart as a whip. Knows her numbers, adding, subtracting, etc, reads great, perfect speller. But if a math problem is written different than what she has seen in the past she has trouble getting it. Can't "read through the lines" so to speak. Same when reading, she can rattle off details that occured in the book but has trouble grasping where it is going.
Based on what we've heard it might all come back to her eyesight. When she had trouble seeing she never developed a way to learn properly. The Sylvain stuff will hopefully assist her in this.
