What businesses have you noted their entire life cycle IE: Video stores

as a kid I liked the slot car places, where you could race little electric motor cars, they were in a lot of strip malls and then gradually petered out.
Mini photo labs sprung up with the invention of the continous processor you could operate in the daylight. they were everywhere for awhile and then gradually disappeared.
quick printers, well technically your local kinkos is a copier/printer, not a photo mechanical traditional printer.
but the almost overnight prolitheration of video rental stores as mom and pop businesses, their gradual consolidation into regional, then national chains, now fading away is the most pronounced of them.
