What surprised me is how easily VCU got open looks at the basket.

They had Kansas confused most of the game.
Smart reminds me a lot of Pitino's year at Providence where he used fat shooter Billy Donovan perfectly and got the team to the final four. He seems to know everything his team does well and manages to put them in the situations where they can excel. I am very impressed with him.
