kare: for materials plus frame it's probably $50-60 per painting. Supposedly I could sell them without frames for $300-ish apiece.

which is not to say my sibs should get me a $300 gift, but it was nice when they used to get me bath salts or fancy coffee.

If I'd planned ahead I could have found cheaper frames online, but I didn't. most of the cost there is the frame. -- nm
