If Dawson or one of the ST accountants are around, I have a question....

Just reading something and I want to make sure of what I am reading as it may affect some of our clients.

"Hidden" in the healthcare legislation is a provision mandating that all US businesses report any payments over $600 to the IRS.

Any truth to this? I ask as the article I am reading implies that Canadian companies may have to get US Taxpayer Identification Numbers to get paid.
