BTW, you're around the point where you should start mastering the Turtle paradigm.

It's a subtle but awesome paradigm and there are some creatures later on that you basically cannot beat without it. If a monster has a special move that is devastating, the instant you believe they're about to execute it, switch to Turtle. The worst case scenario is that you lose about a third of your hit points. The best case scenario is that you get hit points back. It's incredible.
