open filemanager in XP

click on the magnifying glass

search for files

enter *.mp* (if all your musicfiles are in the mp3 mpg3 or any other combination thereor (beware you also get movies in the MP4 format now)

you should have a long filelist on the right showing all your mp's under "documents"

you cold move the mouse to the right frame and press CTRL-A and now have selected ALL files

copy and paste as usual

this is not a nice way of doing it but it saves your the media files atleast

how to do anything in Itunes i have no iear i don't use Apple products at all
