library search your computer and make all files available in WMP. You have tons of other options from burning to streaming to set up. My favorite thing about it is the ability to select/deselect columns and click and drag them into the place YOU want them. You can also set your column widths just by clicking on the header. Just clicking a song lets you change genres, ratings, name, album, anything you want. To find out which version you have, click on help, then go down to "about windows media player".
