is he still wildly inconsistent...moving from streak to streak?

I will say this...he is probably one of my favorite pitchers I've ever watched. Perhaps 2nd only to Petey. But DLowe is/was a fascinating guy to watch. He'd be absolutely abysmal. I mean he'd have games where he looked like he wanted to literally dig a hole in the mound and hide while crying. Then 6 weeks later he'd go on a tear where you'd swear he was the best pitcher in baseball. He was, when he was here, a perfect example of just how difficult it is to be consistently great. It must be maddening.
