Yes the Kazahk's would be Central....China is East Asia and yet Mongolia is right above it.....if you want to count western China as part of....

central asia, then I might be okay with Mongolia as Central Asia.
China for the size of the country and how far it extends into central asia is still refered to as eastern asia.
Pakistan and India are South Asia.
Southeast Asia is usually Vietnam and Laos and Burma and so on.
