From B - or related: It's really hard to generalize, though.. About relationships, work environment, friends.. Do we fool ourselves that there are

standard answers, when and where there are not?

Is life too complex, if we don't strive to establish common norms, to navigate by?

I read some psychology professor say that the human mind is not able to attribute value to something, or to a phenomenon, in and of itself. We can only appreciate or depreciate tangibles and intangibles relative to something else, or relative to the value commonly ascribed to it. (Is this completely true?)
