they don't! the world supply chain is so much more complex than "china makes everything"...

china is certainly the world's biggest manufacturer. but it's not like they make everything--like i said above, mexico is a growing manufacturer. and american manufacturing is one of the brightest spots for this economy over the last couple years--the ism reports have been steadily better for probably the last year and a half or so, and some of that is likely due to it making economic sense to make stuff closer to home markets than to ship across the world.
