That's so WW2, these days a pregger gal will put off a marriage till after the baby is born for a couple good reasons

a. a non married mother has more legal rights to support than a married one, the legal system will just tell the guy you now have to fork over $$$ each month or go to jail, if married you have to go through a divorce first.
b. it helps to see what kind of personality change, see if the guy turns into a jerk, becomes responcible etc.
