Skyler Norris, owner of Secure Media Conversions, recently concocted a story of personal tragedy to play on the emotions of friends and business colleagues.
Norris stood before groups of business owners in networking events and told a story of his Japanese wife whose family had been lost and not heard from since the Tsunami. Norris sa...id they drained their accounts to put her on a plane to Japan, paying $2400 for a one way fare.
His story continued with the total loss of the family's sugar cane crop in Japan and that he had no money to bring his wife home as they depleted all their funds to rush her to Japan with the one way ticket.
Friends and business owners rushed to the aid of Norris. Some writing checks immediately. A donation account was set up for Norris and his family at Wells Fargo. And a large training seminar to take place on April 5th had been scheduled to raise funds for the Norris Family.
The entire story was made up by Skyler Norris.
PS....the Facebook Seminar is still ON! $5.00 for 2 hours of awesome tips you can use to share your biz on FB. Voluntary donations will me collected for the RED CROSS!!
Let's go even bigger!See More
