Has anyone bought an album on Amazon to get the 20GB of cloud service? There are some 0.99 albums. I wonder if they work -- (link)

Yes, any album as far as I know. (I've only bought a $1.99 album since it kicked off, and I got the 20gb upgrade.) -- nm

Wait, I hadn't noticed this before. My 20GB upgrade "trial" ends on April 3, 2012. It doesn't look like it's permanent (yet). -- nm

I don't think it's every permanent. It's supposed to be for 1 year from album purchase IIRC -- nm

But if I buy another album within a year, does the trial period shift? -- nm

That's what I wonder. If not, what's the point? -- nm

The point might be to get another $20/year for the 20GB from you once you get used to it.

That would be my expectation. But I think I'd pay the $20 for a year. -- nm

hmmm - they get everyone hooked on it and then we all pay to keep our access to our stuff?

Any purchases you make of Amazon mp3's don't count toward your storage. It's only additional uploaded files.

Nope. Unless you want more than the 20gb. -- nm

Since it mentions the 20GB upgrade on the album's page I'd assume it would qualify. -- nm
