Not sure about your IM. He was on the Today show this AM with his mom. He seems a normal kid and no one can figure out why he reacts like this

He's been to doctors and had tests and is seeing a therapist. His mom did not condone or excuse his behavior. She did not approve of the spraying and said the cops should have handled it better and if they had waited 10 min. she would have been at the school to attempt to diffuse the situation.
The kid was even kind of cute and kept yawning on the show.
