So my 4 yr old daughter threw this little bon mot at me the other night.

We were having a talk before bedtime because her preschool teacher said she was misbehaving on Monday which is very rare, hence the talk.

I told her that Ms Debra is her teacher and you are to listen to her and show her respect.

My daughter says "The children don't respect Ms. Debra."

I was not expecting that.
