I was seriously considering opting out of our health insurance at work, but then remembered I don't have that option anymore

I pay $1200 a year in premiums and rarely visit the doctor.
The average office visit, uninsured is less than I pay insurance each month (plus the copay).
I'd almost rather save that $1200 a year in an account that grows than give it to a crap insurance company who is still going to charge me up $1500 in deductibles and $30 copays.
But then I realized I am now legally obligated to have health insurance if my work offers it. I didn't think much of this when the law passed, but now...
