in addition to diseases/conditions that are most prevalent among guys your age (testicular cancer, appendicitis, and more), there's always the possibility of accidents - car, hiking, etc. etc.
you don't buy insurance solely for what your current condition is, or for common colds, you buy it for the BigHugeThings that might happen, those you don't always have control of and the facing of which can be body and life-altering.
$100 a month is a drop in the bucket compared to what your per-month payment could be if any of the above happen. (I sincerely hope they never do.)
