Good thing I didn't write the Survivor recap last night. With time to think about it, I changed my mind (spoils)

My first thought last night was that Rob was an idiot for dumping Matt like that...again. He made his decision and it was to stick with Rob. Dumping a guy that is with you instead of a Zapatera is incredibly risky. I much prefer a 7-4 advantage to a 6-5 advantage. All it takes is Phillip to flake out again and Rob's advantage is toast.
Then I got to thinking about it more and it dawned on me...the viewers, we all know that Matt made his decision, with his heart and would honor it. We know this because we've seen Matt from day 1 and I think it's pretty obvious that when he makes a decision based on what he thinks his God wants, he sticks with it, period. Rob doesn't have that luxury. Rob doesn't know what we know. All he knows is that Matt buddied up with Andrea originally and then was thinking of flipping on the Ometepes. That being the case, he had to go.
Next week's episode is going to be a pivotal one...if Ron can hold it together for one more vote and dump Mike and/or Steve, he's in a good spot.
