Gingrich thought he was more popular than Clinton and thus, his side would win. He was wrong. Clinton out-played him and basically ended Gingrich's career as "The Man".
Boehner knows the GOP stands lose more than Obama does becuase if it's one thing we can take from every poll....people want smaller cheaper government right up to the point they actually lose services.
