I have a history of dismissing the alleged "great strategists" on Survivor as being overrated and occasionally just flat out dumb luck-y. David is different. He reminds me of Stephen, but he may be even better in terms of understanding things immediately. Steve was looking around wondering what was going on during the vote last night. David understood *immediately* what a genius play Rob made. That's rare. Ordinarily, players have to return to camp and piece things together. He's simply smarter than any player in recent Survivor history. Ironically, that probably guarantees his quick, decisive elimination.
