You know something? Back in '08 I was at a dinner where the speaker was then top Tory strategy/now Senator Doug Finley....

One of the throwaway observations he made during the Q & A that followed was how great Facebook was for political parties.
"Information people would never dream about giving us if we asked, about their relationship status, their likes, their interests... They just put it up for all to see."
He explained that with a high-degree of probablity, that they could determine how likely a voter for a party you were based on the profile.
It was right about then that I started my long ween off of Facebook.
