Western world has to make a decision and be a little more consistent about it.

Either we accept that atrocities will occur from time to time and we can take non-violent actions like trade action or political ostracization.
Or we acknowledge that we can't go half-assed on military action. Get in and do the job properly and as a global effort.
Probably smarter to just swallow the crap and go with the first one. No way any government signs on to #2.
