I expect as much impartiality from DailyKos as a do from Drudge, but I don't see what that has to do with it.

I'm asking us, as individuals (as opposed to automaton dittoheads for liberal or conservative blogs or talk shows) to consider this, objectively.
I'm much more of a macro-level cynic than micro-level cynic. As such, I believe there is a lot of corruption in the election system, yet I'm inclined to want to believe that this instance is simple reporting error as stated.
But we owe it to ourselves to do at least a surface check. The integrity of our election systems is paramount to our effectiveness as a democratic nation.
