remove Hamas will only serve as a rallying cry to Palestinian youth to swell the membership of Hamas.
Also, their "response" is completely disproportionate. Of course, ignore that if you like.
Think of it this way. If Iran was the world's superpower, and America with its stated aims of freedom and democracy was attacked by Iran, I'm sure in that world, by way of justification you would hear, "if America wanted to be taken seriously they would follow Allah and denounce their heathen ways."
I digress.
