Anyone know how much an MRI gets billed at? I'm getting one on my knee later this week.

My Dr sent me to an ortho who took x-rays today and says I may have a lateral tibial plateau fracture. And here I thought things were progressing nicely, but find that I may have longer term issues with this injury. The medical claim will cover up to 10k. Before my Dr visit last week and today's ortho (and x-rays) the bill totals a little over 2k. I'm thinking I may get close to that 10k before this is all over. Sounds like the "pain & suffering" settlement may be more than my agent estimated, given that I'm actually more than just bruised. It's supposed to cover anything over the medical limit, in addition to the pain and suffering part.
I'm still knocking wood from time to time because I could have been dead instead of just injured. I'm still pissed that the driver will only get a fine for having an obstructed windshield. Yeah, Geico may cancel her policy but she'll have plenty of other fly-by-night options to get insurance in order to renew her tags.
