I think it's totally ridiculous that schools would rather hold back the brightest kids in order to make it easier on the staff rather than teach them

at their level. I think this is a big reason why we're so far behind all the other "first world" nations in educational outcomes. Screw mainstreaming, put them in their own class and put those little diabolical minds to work.
