This is Boyd's cousin. He was with Boyd until the season finale, but Boyd's growing irrational behavior caused him to side with Boyd's father. In return, Boyd's father gutshot him in hopes of the cops believing the woman Boyd currently lives with had killed another Crowder boy.
He wronged Boyd more than vice versa, but Boyd didn't wind up left for dead in a stranger's yard.
