i sometimes cook seasoned ground beef (sauted peppers, onions, etc with ground meat) and freeze that. then you can easily make all sorts of things

I do something like this with chicken. Cut a whole bunch in to bit-seized pieces. Saute it with garlic, shallots, dry vermouth and maybe some shrooms.
