I'm growing increasingly frustrated with my company I can't wait to leave. I mean, com'mon!

The day of Revolution was on a Saturday. Things didn't settle down, especially in my neighborhood, til a few days later. Hence I did not go into the office the Monday and Tuesday that following weekend because 1) it wasn't really so safe, 2) public transport wasn't running.

My boss had even called me those two days to make sure I was okay (since I live in the city center, everyone else lives in the cushy suburbs where the demonstrations didn't really affect) and said I should come in whenever I feel it's okay again.

Today my secretary told me those 2 days were considered vacation days, which I'd not known before taking my 1month holiday, so now I'm over my alloted days.

I just looooooooove how they don't tell me anything around here. They can't just rely on the incumbent (my ex-roommate and fellow trainee) to teach me everything because even she didn't know it all! What is this, a game of telephone? Like, I just found out not long ago that I have 5 sick days. Wtf, why didn't they tell me any of this stuff earlier? I mean, it's basic fyi upon employment.

Ok I could have asked, but still. Those were considered *vacation days*!?!?!?!
