Lots of talk about what this means for the Pujols deal around here.

General consensus is: not much.
Although, it does suggest that both Boston and the Yankees will be out of the sweepstakes...and that's a good thing.
The positive for us is that Gonzalez is 2 years younger than Pujols and only got a 7-year deal. Maybe that'll get Albert to back off his length of contract demands.
