TTIS: What MP3 player would you recommend for my dad, who is somewhat tech-challenged?

he does fine on his PC for the most part, and is very interested in the mp3 player, but he does need something that's pretty user-friendly. He has trouble with the idea of having many choices for one function ... for instance, multiple kinds of browsers, many ways to download mp3s, etc. He needs it simple.

Would ipod be best, do you think? I love my Zen but don't think it's quite user friendly enough compared to Apple.
