no, my zune broke, probably because msfot didnt notice this was a leap year, and the software got confused by the date.

Well, it's undoubtedly a software glitch of some kind but being a leap year seems to be something that would go boom on Feb 29th, not today -- nm

no idea really, its just that if you remove the battery, and the internal clock resets back to startup value, then it has no problem
