I looked it up, and yes, this unrealistic value does exist ("clean retail") that nobody in their right mind would ever actually pay. It's barely $2,000 less than we paid over 2 1/2 years ago for a brand new car with less than 10 miles on it.

If the repair estimate were higher by maybe $1k than it would meet the unrealistic 70% level.

Unbelievable.
