I think I left it on (I had used it on Sunday or Monday and it was probably still on), so I'm not sure if it tried to update or not. It drained the battery, so we plugged it in Tuesday, and when I unplugged and turned it on, it was stuck in an eternal boot. I didn't initiate any updates though.
