It's bad to snoop in an ex-boyfriend's email, but hey, whatcha gonna do when you're drunk?

Anyway, it wasn't me, it was my friend! The guy had it coming, though, for cheating on her repeatedly then lying about it as if she couldn't tell. That's all long and almost forgotten about, but she got drunk recently and found this in his inbox.
What an asshat, and a stupid one at that.
Hi S--,
Thanks for the letter.
I take the internship program seriously here, and I realize I have high expectations. At the very least I expect interns to be reliable, show up on time and complete the simple tasks assigned to them. You have done a fine job with this... you generally show up on time and always take care of cleaning up as soon as you get there. I appreciate that.
But beyond that, I haven't seen much effort. Even after bringing it up with you several times, mics are still being put away into the wrong drawers. I expect interns to grasp this concept after the first week. And in general your effort is minimal... you rarely stay more than a few hours, you have never volunteered to stay late or help out with a show, and even though you were hoping to use the studio for a session, I'm fairly certain you would be totally lost trying to use the console, making your way around the patchbays and working in Samplitude. Sessions are reserved for interns that I truly believe can run an entire session on their own, let alone know where the mics go.
But like I said, you have been reliable and have done decent job of the basic tasks assigned to you. And that was fine until the other day when you chose to get stoned at work. So at this point I am not interested in continuing this internship any further.
I do appreciate the work you have put in up to this point. So we will just consider the day before your pot smoking incident the last day of your internship. And the day you smoked pot was just you hanging out here getting stoned at 11:00am. What this means is that I will tell the school you did a fine job and you should get an "A" and everything will be fine as far as your school goes. But as far as the internship goes, I think now is a good stopping point.
I wish you the best of luck. I strongly suggest taking your work a bit more seriously, and saving recreational drug use for recreational activities.
best,
M--
M---,
First off, I really sincerely apologize for smoking earlier. There was absolutely no indication that it would be ok for me to do so and I simply slipped up. I understand that the studio is a place of business while I, as an intern, am an employee, and I violated a basic tenant of that relationship.
I also understand if I've broken your trust. To clients I am representative of [company], and I acted outside of the image clients should be left with, and simply outside of the trust you gave me by allowing me to sit in on sessions.
While I may not have your full trust again for quite some time, I'll do anything I can to work to repair it. I'm asking that you please allow me to continue learning from you. Please let me prove that I don't take your business, your trust, or your friendship lightly.
Sincerely,
S---
