I think he needs a coaching staff he'll respect, but...

Gabbert is a joke as the top QB prospect. He was worse last year than the previous year, neither of which touched the last QB at that university. And that guy isn't a pro starter.

Newton's numbers speak for themselves.

2,800 passing yards.

1,400 rushing yards.

30 passing TDs.

20 rushing TDs.

In. The. SEC.

And I've never seen a college QB criticized as harshly as him in such a short window. So, we also know he can handle the heat. As long as he has work ethic, the only legitimate question about him, he's going to be a star.
