yes there was a chan one sorta, but when they were allocating radio space the military thought they could use it and reserved it, never did

Networks could only own outright 5 stations, the rest were all affiliated franchises, and in sparse midwest many would offer a mix of NBC and ABC -- nm - zeitgeist Apr 21, 12:14 1
