Will: I don't wish to belabor the point. I just think it's possible that some of the welshers *could* have understandable reasons.

Sure, if someone who welshed came here and said "screw you, I only joined to get a free shirt and had no intent on returning the favor" then I'd be on board with shunning that person.
But I haven't seen the excuses offered by those who failed to uphold their end of the trade so I'm not going to automatically condemn them until I've heard their excuse. That would be pre-judging the situation.
I'm not pre-judging shades or Stacy. They have a history on which I've based my opinion. Many may disagree and that's fine, but it's not an opinion formed in a vacuum.
And for the record shades has as much reason to dislike me as I have to dislike him. I am not faultless in the conflict, but do my best not to perpetuate it.
