REB2: and activist judges, that actually is how I decided some of my judge votes.

I always read the League of Women's Voter guide to help with making decisions in local/state races that I know nothing about otherwise. One of the questions they asked all the judge candidates was how they would define activist judge. Those who had the nerve to say that the activist judge label was more of a 'bogeyman' and a political fight word thrown around when people don't like a ruling? Yeah, those candidates got my vote.
