I have got back into my weight loss again. No job is a good time I think to do that. I have pulled my diet way back to be more like the one I was on about 8 weeks after my GB.
I eat 4-5 times a day and its usually 4-5 oz of mostly protein. A mix of pork, steak, egg white, pinto, black and white beans, jalapeños, ceranos, black pepper, crushed red pepper and cayenne pepper. Yes I make enough for a week at a time and then repeat and sometimes change the meat to chicken and turkey just depends on what I defrost
Then usually and apple and orange and a banana mixed in. I try hard to stay away from processed grains and I take a lot of vitamins everyday because well I have to because of the GB.
And at least a gallon of water.
SO combined this with doing 44 min of cardio 2x a day. Usually 10-12 hours apart. (don't ask why 44 min its an OCD thing and silly) but I work hard on that and do some squats and lift a little dumbbell while I ride.
After 3 weeks now I have lost 14 lbs and kind of start craving to squeeze in a 3rd cardio session. My workout room is usually 82+ degrees.
I try right after my work out to drink a small glass of skim milk with just a little chocolate powder in it (cant afford protein drinks) - my nutritionist said this makes a good poor mans protein drink giving my muscles a good does of sugar they need (just do what I am told).
I still find that I have days where my leg muscles feel itchy inside and fatigued. If I get on a bike I feel better but is there something that can help speed up muscle recovery while still maintaining the extra 1600-1700 KCAL burn every day?

I'd say you need some more fresh fruits and veggies. and more variety of them. -- nm

Chocolate milk is good, but it's probably not enough alone. More protein with it immediately after. Eat some carbs before.

I wouldn't over do it. ~5 pounds per week weight loss is already kind of much. -- nm

There is such a thing as over training. It takes time to recover, and the older you get the longer it takes.
