In this county the sirens go off for severe thunderstorms, too. Makes it more likely some will ignore them.

I'm not so used to them. I always try to find out why they're going off.

Although heaven help me if there's actually a tornado at noon on the first Wednesday of the month. That's when they test the sirens.
