(Florida is out?) Of those three, I've lived in Colorado, and can tell you it's a nice place to live - except the winters.

We've considered moving to NC as well. I like Charlotte area, and liked Raleigh both times we visited.
I've never been to Oregon, but it would also be on my short list.
