true, I have done weddings at Denny's, and most of my clients are non church (though strangely enough I have done about a dozen IN churches) -- nm

I agree with him. I don't think I've ever been to a wedding where the father gives away the bride.

Yeah...I still hear it in pretty much every wedding I attend. "Who giveth this woman?" "Her mother and I" is pretty common. -- nm
