where I can great private groups as well as galleries that do not require the user to be a Flickr member. It is kinda security by obscurity because anyone with the URL can view, but it works great because I can create one link to give to my family where they can see all my family pictures but the public smugmug site does not show any of those photos unless I copy them into a public gallery
I'll still keep my Flickr account for the community parts which Flickr does exceptionally well, but I'll only use it sparingly for photo uploads.
