Inductions of nulliparous patients resulted in a 23.7% c-section rate. Not the "as high as 50%" I quoted above, but that was 5 years ago, too. Certainly not the 7% your numbers suggest.
It's become all too frequent lately. I can dig up more recent stats, given the time.
