Didn't I hear reports that it's been taking up to 6 months recently? - but supposedly improving. Calif govt IT departments are a joke in recent years

overpriced contracts and 'new' software that doesn't work.
Now the DMV has to delay sending out registration renewals because - until the new budget passes - they don't know how much to charge.
