Though using somewhat different reasoning.

I like Stewart's... maybe the people who are bemoaning our celebration of death and war should be advocating for less insulation from the actual consequences and goriness of death and war.

Though, Stewart's initial point about how gory network TV and movies already are sorta belies the idea that more violent imagery will *lesson* our thirst for blood and vengeance.

Love the Zapruder analogy.
