Honestly...I just pictured the Arena like The Truman Show...the way Christof controlled everything from the booth.

The thing that bugged me most about the book was the first person narrative. While it kept you wondering what was going on elsewhere...it kinda clued you in to the fact that Katniss (no matter what happened in the Arena) would make it out alive.
